Molded Leather Bag – Form Driven by Function

This project began with a simple frustration: traditional handbags often show wear at the bottom corners, where the material creases and scuffs over time. We set out to solve this with a design that was not only more durable, but also more distinctive.

The solution came through a molded leather base with rounded corners, eliminating the common points of impact while creating a seamless, sculptural foundation. This approach allowed us to merge functional durability with a refined, original aesthetic, using the design constraint as a starting point for innovation.

The result is a leather bag that stands out through its form and longevity—proving that solving a problem can also define a brand-new silhouette.
